Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Jarli account and associated personal information at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app

1. Open Jarli and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Without the app

Email hello@jarli.au from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in identifier;
• Your email address;
• The link between you and your career profile and conversation history.

What we keep

For safety, quality and integrity reasons, some conversation records are retained in de-identified (pseudonymised) form — they are no longer linked to you and cannot be used to identify you. These de-identified records are retained indefinitely, as explained further in our Privacy Policy. If you had a paid subscription, we also keep limited billing records for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
